Hi mission runners!

I'm new to the mission running thing.. been living in a wormhole for the past 2 years. Anyway, i thought i read somewhere that if you team up with a coprmate to run missions and share rewards that you both get credit for each others missions, and in doing so get storyline missions much faster? has this been changed or am i out to lunch on that? because the two of us have turned in a combined 25ish missions now and still no storyline mission for either of us..

IIRC you will get your storyline offering after 16 regular missions assigned to you, and completed of course, if you run them alone or in fleet does not make any difference.

Your corp mate should get a storyline once it finishes the number of missions accepted by him/she.

ok.. guess i got it wrong. i thought if we were sharing mission rewards he would get credit for my completed missions and count towards the 16 missions needed for the story line mission. Evil

No only the person turning in the missions will get the storyline... and unless something changed only the person turning in the storyline will get faction standing.

But you have to remember that the rate you finish missions is vastly increased when you do them as group. Even two ships complete missions faster than you could do them alone. This is of course assuming you use "kill all" strategy.

Bounties (you need to be on same grid), mission rewards, corporation standing can be shared with other people.

Storyline mechanics don't change at all.

I think it's funny how some don't want to fleet in missions because they don't want to share the bounties... Often these are the same pilots with poor skills that take forever to complete missions. I find missions go quicker and you make the same or maybe a bit more in a fleet. This is unless you have dead weight in the fleet like AFK pilots or pilots that shouldn't be in a level 4 mission.
