Need a fit for L4 Geddon

I would like to try a Armageddon drone boat but I'm not real sure how to fit it. I'd like to run a micro jump drive on it and use sentries. I also saw someone suggest small missile launchers to handle frigates without having to pull the sentries back in. Can someone help me with a fit? I don't really know how to fit drone boats and I really don't know anything about sentries. Thanks.

Unless there's a RP or tidy skill sheet reason otherwise, my personal opinion is you are much better served spending the few days training Gallenet BS to lvl 4 and using a Domi for PvE drone stuff, since both its bonuses apply there and it is awesome for what you want to do since Gardes (shortest range, highest dps sentries) can reach 90km fairly easily. Geddon is more a PvP drone boat and awesome at that.

Well all my skills are in Amarr ships and I'd really rather not cross train for PVE.

Ok as I said the Domi is better but the Geddon does a decent job still.

On my iPad atm and can't export from the fitting tool properly, but:-

Hi slots fit 3 drone links and then 4 of whatever weapon system you like

Mids fit 3 Omnis (drone tracking and range mods) and the Micro Jump Drive

Lows fit Large Armor Repairer and then 1 hardner to each of the main damage type for the rats you are fighting in that mission.
Leaves 1 low free, to snipe you usually need a sensor amp in here to extend your lock range.

Rigs a sensor range rig combined with the sensor amp should give you lock range similar tomyour drone control range (128km for me, skill dependant of course).
Other two rigs will possibly be needed for fitting, cpu if you fitted cruise launchers etc. If not then use them to either boost the weapons you fitted or add a scope rig to increase drone optimal even more (4th stack with omnis so only do this if nothing else is needed or useful).

Ok, thanks for the advice. Was wondering about the drone links. Wasn't sure if they work with sentries but I guess they do. Thanks.

Yes the links are needed to tell drones to do anything at range. Default drone control range is 20km, then there's a skill that adds +5km per level. Electronic Warfare drone skill also adds +3km per level. Means most people have 57km drone control range. The drone links are required to tell a drone (inc sentries) to do something to an object further away than that. Drone control range means the range you can tell a drone to do something to, not the range from you to the drone.

I recently jumped in my Geddon for the first time in several months.

I was so sad! One bottom plate had to be removed and 2 guns would not even work anymore.
That Geddon used to get over 1100 DPS and tank like a boss. :(

After I quit sulking I started to refit the thing to see if it could be useful.
In game, I got better DPS numbers from Ogre II's than I did with Garde II's. Kinda surprised me.

I didn't fit it for pve though.. and I'm not sure my last fit is really and end fit. Gotta play with it some more.
I just wanted to mention the DPS difference of the large drones though.

(I didn't ever get close to my old 1118 DPS)

+1 for the thread. I will learn stuff. I'm sure.

Build I posted gets 1160 paper DPS with T2 damage ammo and overheating the launchers! Lol Good luck getting anywhere near that amount of actual DPS though, or using something like it in PvP. Roll

T2 heavy drones require the racial specialization skills which is why their numbers are a bit higher.

Yep Geddon can do short range gank fit well, I run mine on short range missions with a cap booster in the mids and then you can make better use of rigs etc, fit above was specifically for the OPs MJD snipe fit request.

Having said that, I still prefer Mare for EM/Therm missions and Mach for Exp missions, so my Geddon would be cheap T2 only and comes out either for heavy TD missions like Sansha blockade or for LS missions (where a few neuts are well worth losing the missile dps, lovely being able to drop 3 or 4 heavy neuts past tackle range on someone trying to ruin your day).
