I got ejected then it self destructed.

Hey guys so i was in wormhole shooting some sleepers. noticed my tank was about to reach 50%. as soon as i turned on the second armor rep the ship ejects me and and implodes... i check the kill-mail to see if i got bombed but no one was around but the sleepers. has anyone had a similar experience?

Well, sleepers tend to hit quite hard on higher level wormholes. What ship were you flying and what class was the wormhole? You can also check your logs for high damage hits before the explosion.

I guess that 'My ship ejected me and then self destructed' is a much better explanation than 'I lost my ship to sleepers because reasons'.

If it makes you feel any better I once self destructed a new Raven (Which at the time was the most expensive thing I owned) to get my friends attention because he was shooting the wrong rat.

Edit: I meant to turn it off of course

it was command ship in a c2 wormhole i already had one armor rep on and turned on the second one thats when the ship blew up. HAHA yah i get that no many could help but had to try see if anyone else had been through the same. on and it was two cruisers i was finishing off. oh and the logs show no final blow.

You can try to petition, although most probably a waste of time. Any chance you got the 'socket closed' error in the last weeks/months? I suspec the client desynced and you just came to see the explosion when it synced again.

I am not old, just bitter.
