Very nice, I've been wanting this feature for quite some time now :)

Especially on my 2560x1440 screen... The font in the overview get's a little small.

Being able to scale various parts of the UI differently would be really cool but will definitely not be done for winter. Great idea though :)

While you are at it, can you make a setting for keeping the current font? Not that I don't appreciate the effort for the people that suffer from the current one.

Well then release the version that is currently working in winter but still continue the work in the individual parts after the winter expansion. At least if we got to this point lets do a good job with the scaling of the UI rather doing bits and pieces once every 2 years or so. Just my 2 cents

I have been playing around with this feature a bit on SiSi, quite cool, and my eyes feel less butt-hurt after hours of reading text in the channels I reside in and having a slightly bigger HUD has made my noob pvp mistakes of miss-clicking modules much less frequent. Thank you CCP for your great improvements that continue to amaze me and others within the EvE Community and if I'm lucky to see a dev one day, ill be sure to buy them a drink for their work. Blink

This will be very helpful. A 30" monitor @ 2500x1600 + EvE = Serious Eyestrain.

This is really nice and all, but can we please have a blog on the FW changes now?

A confirmation of the state of WiS would also be very nice.

So, is this the first step toward totally customizable UIs?

I suppose it will not be possible to replace the font with our own, or will it ?

Aw that's a shame! I was hoping to scale up the ship's HUD buttons all by themselves so that I would finally be able to hit the over-heat pixels with a mouse cursor. Oh well...

Edit: Just wanted to add that this is a great feature that I've been wanting for years (ever since I started playing on a 24" monitor). So thank you very much!

This is a great update!
Thanks for the hard work - it's really amazing how quickly you guys got this feature implemented after hearing the player's requests from the font dev blog.

The combination of this new font and UI Scaling should help a LOT of people play EVE more easily. Any improvement to accessibility is important, and a good decision.

Thanks again!
