I recently was in a FW corp and I don't think it's for me.

I dabble in station trading to have some semi-steady income, but that's not my focus.(currently only have 1 toon, no alts)

The thing I enjoy most currently in this game is low sec exploration.

I'm interested in small gang pvp, but currently don't have anyone to fly with.

My SP is mainly in drones, gunnery and Gallente ships.

So to be clear, I'm looking for a corp that being a member of won't get in the way of my ability to station trade and/or explore, but offer me opportunities for small gang pvp.

I'm US EST, I've been in enough corps that are EU based and that hasn't worked out for me. There are never people on / things going on when I'm playing. So I def prefer a US Time zone based corp, or a corp that actually has a US TZ presence, not "working on one" like most corps I've been exposed to.

Let me know if you think I would be a good fit for your corp.

Thank You For Consideration,

Hey Burke - please see our full recruitment post details https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=233518&find=unread

You'll fit right in, we have several EU/UK/US/AU pilots.

We are a top line corporation operating out of nullsec. If you take a look at http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=corp&name=Norse%27Storm+Battle+Group you'll see we are active and have a long history :)

Idea We also have carrier and dread programs to assist members into those capital ships they have always wanted.

We are primarily a bunch of UK/EU pilots with several USTZ members all in our 20 to 40-somethings out for a good laugh and pvp goodness

We're active in the US TZ, and have several blues that are EU if your ever on in that TZ and looking for fleet. We are in FW, so Caldari and Amarr highsec would be off limites to your main (station trading alt out of corp is fine). Lowsec exploration and ratting is pretty lucrative right now with the new pirate tags and ease of exploration, and we have a no pressure environment where you can explore all you want if that's what floats your boat.

We are a PVP corp, and do base our moves and decisions on that fact, but our members run FW plex and explore to make ISK. If your interested, check out our recruitment post for more details and join our chat channel.

Burke,

We base out of the Passari solar system in caldari low sec and operate in the surrounding area. We focus on small gang warfare and we really just enjoy the depth to ship fitting and fleet composition.

We are not elite PvPers, nor do we strive to be. We enjoy the game for the strategy it provides. Our roams are generally shorter and we are kind to those that make mistakes or need to log at a moments notice.

In order to make ISK we do a lot of exploration in the surrounding area, which also leads to more PvP. We also have a class 3 wormhole to help newer players earn ISK faster with PI and sleeper sites.

We have about have a solid group of active members. You are more than welcome to join our public channel or come out and fleet up with us for a night before making any commitments.

We roam daily and just want to enjoy the game. Contact me for further details.

Burke,

I think we have a solution for your desire ;) We are a US TZ corp, that focus is on pvp, but that has other things going on as well, like mining, exploring ect. We also have a nice area with low sec 2 jumps away that we control, that has lots to explore!

If this sounds about what you want, join us in game HoC recruiting

Hi Burke,

Vicis Inter Astrum is recruiting again, and I'd welcome you to give us a look.

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=252479&find=unread is the long (yes, I'm sorry, it's long) version.

The short version is that we're adults looking for all types of players, because being self-sufficient means filling all roles. We already have an EU-TZ station-trader who finds profit and fun in disposing of all the material we can give him, he also gets the satisfaction of using his unique market skills to help the corp move forward. He flies pvp on the side. Sound familiar?

The majority of our corp is US TZ, and we're actively looking to expand our pvp player-base. Low-sec exploration is a great way to make income and/or pick a fight (according to your preference!) and you'll have friends here with similar interests.

All we ask is maturity, dedication and patience. Check us out!

Wow lots of good options here. I thought I had found a corp to join, but it didn't pan out. I will definitely be contacting some of you soon to learn more about your corps.

May I ask what turned you off of FW? We are FW/lowsec pirates and we have a handful of guys that do exploration. It seems to work quite well for them.

Maybe I have a skewed vision or didn't give it long enough, but the times I did plexing in FW there were many many people just in it for the LP, not wanting to fight back. Lots of people out there with non combat fits and just warp stabs. One great example was one guy was out there plexing in a venture, not even trying to act like he was going to engage someone. It seemed like endless cat and mouse games and an extreme amount of effort to get into pvp battles. When I read and heard about FW, that is not what I pictured at all.

The corp I was in was cool, but there were very few people I "clicked" with. They deff had more people in EU time zone than US and it felt like all of the events were really turning into EU times on weeks day when I was at work the entire time.(unable to attend)

I'm not sure how much detail you were looking for, let me know if you want more specifics.

That is fair. I wouldn't judge all of FW by your one experience though. From what you described, a lowsec focused pvp corp (FW, pirate, or both) would seem like the best fit for you though. Good luck finding the right corp for you.
