Is the Dramiel still the king of speed?

Just as the title says.. I'd like to know if the Dramiel is still the fastest ship in the game, or has it been nerfed into obscurity now? I've been out of game for a bit and have no idea what this new patch brings, but from what I've read so far things are getting interesting.

IIRC the Daredevil just edges the Dramiel out due to its additional lowslot and slightly higher PG...

Dramiel is still really good

Anyone who says otherwise is bad.

The Dramiel's speed wasn't touched if I recall correctly, it just lost PG so it couldn't fit such a silly tank while being that fast.

I'm not at home so I can't link it, but I have a dramiel fit that's basically a souped up Ares (I run my ares with autocannon because :nocap:), that gets about 8100 overheated, and spits out about 120dps (IIRC). Plus light ecm drone for that additional f-you.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

It is in the top3, thats for sure. But sometimes just easier to get a fast interceptor

If we want to go truly silly, this thread is also relevant.

Its speed was killed.

It used to go 2300 with just an Gistii AB, its CPU and scan res took a hell of a hit as well....and now range, used to be two TEs away from 20km with barrage, those days are over as well.

I miss my old dram, thing was damn destructive.

Its still an VERY VERY good friglet, but it isn't what it was.

A hell of a lot cheaper as well.

Truth to be told the vigil used to be faster due to the hull's speed bonus, but that is gone now too. Used to be you could run a vigil at near 9km/s with just a meta MWD and a nano.

I can get a stiletto to go over 8,000m/s heated with minimal skills, and thats with a T2 MWD 1NM.

This fit isn't possible (anymore).
The last ACR exceeds Calibration.

I was disappointed too, when I tried to build the very same thing.

For some reason I thought they'd bumped the calibration back up. Checking in game says... not so much. Daredevil it is then.

There are real fit speeds, then there are silly fit speeds.

In any case, give Navy Slicer a spin.
