Legit statement looking for legit input. No talk of moderation or any of the other **** my last 6 threads have been locked for.

I like this game. I like the people in it. Scammers included. I like the fact anything can happen. Similar to a butterfly effect. We've all lost stuff in this game. Why so much drama over the small ****?

It's not personal. It's just business.

Because it was against the rules, just like RMT, botting, exploiting etc.

As far as I understand it, there are real life consequences around character scamming that date back to the days when the only way to transfer characters was by paying a real money cash fee (that's why they talk in terms of credit card fraud in the FAQ). Rather than allow ingame scamming to spill over into the real world in this way they banned character scams. There might be a case for changing this now that you can pay for the transfer with plex but, personally, I think that because a character transfer is a real world event rather than an ingame event it is legitimate to treat it differently from normal scamming. Scamming someone over a character transfer involves directly scamming the real life player rather than an ingame character.

There are two types of EVE player:

those who believe there are two types of EVE player and those who do not.

lol I didnt even take this one off topic this time. I'm giving up. Just trying to make a legit thread. but on that note. They let me off with a warning. =)

apparently they have revised the rules since my last toon scams to now include EVERYTHING. So take heed. Alice got her plexs back yes. haha but thats all anyone got back =) Reason. She paid AFTER he won the post war. Others were after.
