Cyclone is now missile boat?

Hi,
This is seems the wrong forum but i can only post here so,

I see that Cyclone now is a missile boat. As you guys can see now that I'm a Caldari but I'm kind of fond of Minmatar.

Can anyone entertain me the differences between Cyclone and Drake? since Cyclone is way cheaper (although i dint know the total price for fully rigged ship).

and also between Typhoon and Raven.

The Cyclone has less overall DPS, less resistances, and [slightly less] raw HP than the Drake... however it has a MUCH beefier active tank, is much faster, is not limited to one missile "flavor" and has two utility/turret high slots

Yeah, that Cyclone change made me train missiles and now I am flying frakkin tengu like every other scrub around here :(

And you may not be able to post in other subforums but you definitely are able to read them so -> Ships & Modules

Seems that many minmatar missile boat have less missile turrets, so less DPS. But it seems to have higher skills requirement because of the utilities.

It has excellent active shield tank, it is fast, it can murder things with HAMs, it has utility slots - I wouldn't call it bad.

My remark about flying tengu was kind of mental shortcut so I will explain: after I trained for t2 HAMs and HMLs I decided to train Caldari Cruiser V as well because that was last "big" learning step from tengu. You shouldn't conclude from this that Cyclone isn't good ship :)

No, but it does work very differently from a Drake and many other missile ships.

For me it is bad,now it is more of single trick pony..before it was more and it was minmatar!

Mixed weapons if ya want or not if ya don't also it could dish out ~200 dps more if u aimed for that sort of thing.

cyclone is not that bad, i use it for L3 mission and it can do pretty quick (i'm using HM meta 4)

as for typhoon it's better than raven
