Worst skill you ever trained

I'd be surprised if no one has mentioned Armor Honeycombing or Armor Resistance Phasing.

When introduced, Armor Resistance Phasing actually made the already crappy Reactive Armor module it was used for, multiplicatively worse.

And Armor Honeycombing at V? Almost pointless for the expenditure of time it requires.

Probably Mining V. I started training it up while I was trying to figure out the game. While I did occasional resource collection in previous games, I haven't yet done any significant mining at all in 5 months. Maybe I will get benefit from it someday.

Worse? But cycling faster makes it adjust faster it DOES work.

And honey combing is awesome for anyone that's used a armor buffer tank.

Speaking of armor tanking need to wot on my compensation skills... Max out dem EANMs!

Truth is I hate training 5's but somehow managed to put already 80 of them on my main character spec combat and about 60 on another one.

The feeling of progression in many games is rewarding on it self, in eve progressing skills offers new opportunities but means also more tedious and more boring stuff other players will ask you to do for them because they can't be bothered doing it themselves (reccon/logi/blops/covert cyno/dictor etc).

What all those skills offered me as in game accomplishment, is more boring farming to cover bigger pods loss, grind stuff with bazillions of EHP in 10% TiDI but most of all makes me waste my precious time trying to play something barely playable or really enjoying unless about 10% at best of the time spent.

Still have in mind all those required gunnery skills and mandatory support to make them work decently, a true pain in the butt, unfunny and whatnot but worst are still exumers/Orca and all mining skills I almost never use because it sucks so hard without boosters whatever activity you might think about brings you more benefits than mining.

You and many others I guess Sad

I was slightly lucky, I got to play the new exploring games on SiSi just before I was going to put Hacking and Archaeology V into my queue so I saved a few days there.

Got all the Astrometric skills to V so still meh

You've go to love the way they wave their little arms around as they work, they're the happiest of all the drones.

you are a special kind of ****** if you spend +20 days training something you don't know if you need.

Once i found radar site with gallente encryption methods book inside. I decided to train it till V. And now I don't know how to use it.

Gives higher chances on invention.

Mining 5 for me btw.

Mining 5 is worth the candle if you want to run anything larger than a Venture tin can. Which you most definitely do for small fleet mining ops.

A character I purchased had some of the COSMOS science skills trained. Since the COSMOS items are more or less useless, I really pity anyone who trained all four of these skills to lvl 5.
