Joining Faction Warfare - Standings

Hi EVE Pilots,

I'm looking at signing up my Corp to the Militia for Gallente. I have good standings with the Faction and all other members of my Corp have 0 standings. I did have a member with bad standings and when attempting to join it said the Corp had a -1.19 standing with Gallente.

Now that I have kicked everyone do I just have to wait until downtime for the standings to reset so I can join?

If I manage to get the corp into the Militia, what will happen when Pilots with bad standings join the Corp. Will the Corp be kicked from the Militia?

Yes, after downtime you should be able to do that.

Whenever your standings get too low, you (CEO, Directors, and I think Personnel Managers) get a warning notification that your corp will be booted in 24 hours unless standings are fixed, at which point you can fix them by booting the appropriate people (or running missions or whatever).

Also, keep in mind that standings for new members to a corp only get calculated in after they've been in the corp for a week, and that all standings used for calculating the corp standings are unmodified pre-skill standings.

Thanks for that LackOfFaith.

The best way to grind standing for Faction warfare is through Missions of the race (Gallente) or are there specific missions I should get members with low standings to focus on.

(please direct to correct wiki or forum location, not adverse to reading, just finding it difficult to find accurate information)

The Warfare and Tactics forum is for FW.
Quickest way would probably be to have the low guys mission for the FW corp or plex. You can easily get it back to 0 in a week running FW plex.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.
