Edward J. Snowden sent a request for asylum in Iceland. Rumor has it he's a Goon, conspiracy?

Although Equador seems a bit more liveable, Iceland is too cold.

Wonder what his CCP name would be?

It should be CCP Hero. But it will probably end up CCP Felon or CCP Corpse.

After defending the U.S. Constitution for 27 years, it is disgusting to me that its greatest enemy resides in the White House and Congress. The U.S. President and Congress are violating the U.S. Constitution. And, not just the U.S. Constitution, they are collecting data from everywhere in the world. So there are MANY international laws being broken.

If you want to kill the message... you kill the messenger.

If you feel the same way, let your representatives know. If you are not American, you can still email Congress and the White House. You are also being targeted.

Looks like he'll be joining Julian Assange (currently in the UK, but on Ecuadorian sovereign territory) protected under the terms of Ecuador's extradition agreement with the US, which excludes extradition for crimes of a political nature.

I think it's kind of ironic that the US is trying to prosecute a man for espionage because he called them out for unlawful espionage.
