Looking to get into a fast PvP ship

So, I created a new account recently (Not this one) and I was flying a Imperial Navy Slicer since on my new account I am flying Amarr. So, the Slicer I noticed was really fast and a lot of fun unlike all my slow Caldari ships, it was a change that I liked. I would like to train up a line of Amarr ships that are really fast like that and do damage, any help since I am new to Amarr? Also I would like a them to be PvP because I am going to use Battleships and Cruisers for PvE.

If you want speed, train minmatar.

Omen, Navy Omen, Zealot, Harbinger, Navy Harbinger, Oracle can be pretty good in nano kitting setups, since they hit very hard at range and also can dictate range against most hulls. With the last changes to amarr BS you even have a faster option here to. You can now chose between the quick and nimble apoc and the more common brick like plategank setups like the Abaddon, depending on what you need to do with your BS.

Omen and Harbinger are both used with success in Speed-Kite styles. The Harbinger tends to be shield tanked and the Omen armor tanked (although it slows your speed, you need a capacitor booster because of the weak cap and Omen only has 3 midslots)

Shield harbingers.. dear god...

If you want to be fast train minmatar/gallente

(Although all races have relatively fast ships)

Amarr can do the high speed kitey business, you just need to learn to become pro at capacitor management.

You will likely find Amarr to be a lot of fun once you get good at cap management.

They're actually not all that slow and the projection is amazing, the introduction of the Oracle kinda killed it though.

LOL He prolly thinks back to before tiercide happened and minnies where king of small frig pvp.

Times change, and just about every faction has ships that rival the rifter now. (sorry the king got dethroned. it happens. no one reigns forever.)

While you can still use the rifter amazingly well that gap that used to exist between the rifter and all the other t1 frigs isn't so wide anymore.

The executioner makes a great cheap fast skirmisher.

Crusader can still be used in a fleet situation but is pretty much trounced by the slicer.

The malediction is possibly the best tackler in game now but it's damage dealing capabilty is a lot less.

But as mentioned above all the races have plenty of fast kitey stuff now the rebalance has happened.

PS. The rifter still rocks you just have have to know how to use it right Twisted

That is the Way, the Tao.

Balance is everything.
