I caught this thread on MD a few days ago, seemed like an interesting idea:

After speaking with the OP I joined his corp with this alt, was given wallet privileges etc so I could see how well their POCOs were currently doing and ultimately gave them an investment.

Of course, my roles were very quickly removed, all isk withdrawn from the corp wallet and after 24 hours I was unceremoniously booted from the corp. Big shock, I know.

So just a shout out to any that were unsure - Killer766 and The Razzle Dazzle of Fantazzmanglers are scammers.

Before the flames fly - these are not 'delicious tears', just a forewarning which will hopefully prevent someone else from making the same mistake.

Hope you didn't lose too much, but, obvious is obvious...

The fact they needed ISK for fuel and ammo o.0 should of been a red flag.

It's broken and it's been broken for a long time and it'll be broken for some time to come.

if you, like me, had taken the appropriate precautionary measures, you would have discovered the scam before sinking the ISK.

I sent in a mail requesting more information. Seemed fishy, but asking for more information couldn't hurt. Walked away after receiving first reply and checking killboard. They mentioned they needed ammo for caps out in Placid, but they had no record of cap ship usage and poco take overs in that area. Just do your research folks.

i'm not sure what gave you the idea but personally, i would be very surprised if i discovered my wallet 5bil short. especially since i have not transferred any money anywhere except my alts in several months.

I should buy an Ishtar.
