The warping POS idea and wormholes

Do you remember the warping POS idea that CCP talked about?
Basically the slowest hot drop ever, only instead of a ship its a POS?

Wouldn't it be cool if wormholers could move their POS with them, as in mobile base of operation, to other wormholes?
So instead of abandoning them, they would just tell them to warp and go through the wormhole.

You can warp it already. Just offline and unanchor it, put it in your cargo bay and warp.

Pfft, not cool enough.

Sounds like Stargate Atlantis. Decent idea though. Put everyone in the pos and then warp as a group in a bubble. Use gunners on pos's. Would be a hell of a fight. Don't think servers could handle it though.

No.

i want POS out of wormholes or make them very hard to maintain..

what would be cool is a T3 capital ship that can be configured for deep space exploration and capable of limited manufacturing slots.

instead of a pos type system

do it like sins of a solar empire sorta

and let a corp build a "star base", similar to sins of a solar empire star bases could move, but very very slow and really meant to stay stationary but they could be moved if needed.

that could make an interesting addition as a mobile platform to compliment the pos system

Isn't that pretty much what a Titan is already?

Give a man a match and you warm him for a day.

Set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life!

GL fitting a Titan inside a wormhole.
