June 15th, YC 115

Captain Rorin Cutter: Legatus legionis of Deus Fides Empire walks down the long isle through the chapel aboard his flag ship The Will of GOD - an Archon type Carrier.

The crew, numbering over 9500 free men and slaves, passengers and imbedded reporters standing at attention or sitting in there pews each according to their station leaned slightly forward in anticipation of better hearing the upcoming announcement.

Hail friends and neighbors.

While not as exciting as the Ball from yesterday evening, and the ten years anniversary, we to have a short bit of news.

As you all can see today, I have the privilege of standing before you and announcing a change in the direction that Deus Fides Empire and Curatores Veritatis Alliance have followed these passed years together.

To be short about it, we have decided that we would like to help expand the influence of the Empire not only through our successful operations during our “Operation Deliverance”, but also help expand the Amarrian influence throughout known space in conjunction with the faction war going on between the Militias.

Together we can perform our duties assisting our friends in high security Empire space and maintain our normal day to day operations in the Domain and Providence area.

Joining the Amarrian faction and helping to secure the Empire as well as helping the Empire expand across Gods glorious golden universe is a duty that we will take seriously.

Starting next week we will there for be in a status of war with Minmatar as well as Gallente factions.

"I give to you the destiny of Faith,
And you will bring its message to every planet of every star in the heavens:

Go forth, conquer in my Name, and reclaim that which I have given."

- The Scriptures, Book of Reclaiming 22:13

And of course we will continue the destiny that God has handed to us!

Those are good news, for they imply your strength is as big as ever, and your duty again lies on this side of the Empire as well as in Providence. Captain Cutter, it'll be a honor to fight alongside you and your men in the Bleak Lands.

These are the trouble times we are living in.
I am happy that CVA decided to join the war.

The Federation must be destroyed.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

Grow up Diana.

The militia wars have no chance to destroy any of the empires.
You do understand that, right?

They're a pretty light show to keep idiots and genocidal lunatics like yourself distracted.

Well now, don't you have a self-defeating attitude?

Imagine if the ancient Athra had said to themselves 'Conquer an entire planet of people and integrate them into our empire? Impossible!' and just gone home. The Amarr would have been yet another speed bump in someone else's bid for power instead of the oldest and largest political entity in the cluster.

In this case Makkal, no.

The Militia wars are fought within a set boundary and are incapable of affecting those who are not either enrolled in the militia or in the low-security systems that they are allowed to do battle in.

They are little more than a disorganised bloodsport for a transferable trophy, made to give the illusion of conflict.
They keep the masses appeased, little more. Anyone looking at these conflicts strategically can see that.

It does however irritate me beyond belief that my homeworld is one of these transferable trophies. Intaki should never have been placed in such a position.

For that, both CONCORD and the Federate government have reparations to make, that is however a conversation for another time and thread.

CONCORD has little power, and boundaries have been broken before. The Republic does so often enough, afterall.

Not saying that's the Empire's intention, or that we look forward to it, as such is not the case. But it has been done before, which means it can happen again.

*Cough*

It should be pointed out that CVA's involvement in Faction Warfare is currently on a limited time 'trial' basis, so the expectations of our fellow Amarrian loyalists should not be set too high at this stage.

The CVA remains focused on bringing the light of Amarrian justice and civilisation to heathens in 0.0, (particularly Holy Amarrian Providence) and low-sec Amarrian space and while this mission is going well at present - thus allowing CVA to contribute to the war effort - this could change at any moment.

CVA pilots are encouraged to take advantage of this period to demonstrate their loyalty to the Empire from which their alliance was sprung - but fellow loyalists should understand that at this stage these contributions are totally voluntary and may not be long term, as it depends on many factors outside our control.

As such please set expectations accordingly. As a loyal Amarrian I hope that CVA forces will help shift things decisively in Amarr's favour - but please do not expect an impact overnight.

I will now return to my onerous planet side duties...

Luckily not all Gallente, including me, feel this way towards the state.

But my personal feeling towards Ms Kim is, well... after this sentence, I want to see your dead, cold body floating in space... and add it to my hangar.

I am half serious. Half...

Well that only took a week for a nice back-pedaling.

Of course it's easy to manage lowered expectations when they aren't too high to begin with.

Still best of luck with the pacification of the tribals.
