How do 4.5s module cycles work with 1s server ticks?

For example the difference between Large Remote Armor Repairer II and Solaces. Does the health actually show up in between server ticks or does it just kind of average out to be more reps per second?

It reps more over time period.

I believe it's just Destiny (EVE's physics engine) which runs at 1 tick per second. So it affects only velocity changes and collision detection, and not module activations.

The server ticks over at 1 sec intervals. anything that is aprt of a second will activate at the next 'tick'

eg 4.5s for your repper so it actually reps at the 5s mark when the server 'ticks' over. This depends also when you activated it within the current tick.

The next rep will be at the 9s mark (4.5s x 2) etc.

This can lead to an OCD overload if you look too closely at it so I'd advise you not to worry so much about it and just accept that it reps faster over time.......

It does on modules also the thing being that a module working for "x" amount of time reps "y" amount over that time which is longer than 1sec
Doesn't apply to instant targeting showing on screen with less than 1sec and yet, despite you see the disruptor active on the target he's warping off and you look like this Shocked

This server tick only changes instant effects perception or effects during/under this second timer, past this, no change and no loss.
