I was just reading this (but not all of it)

And I think it highlights something pretty important. Why should an aggressor continue to be an aggressor if they're not aggressive?

I'm gonna go with the hardline on this, I think that aggression must be instigated by either party at least 1000m from a station every 24 hours in order for the war dec to continue.

I hate being dec'd and nothing happening.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

As the guy who made the linked to post, I would just like to point out that it is now Thursday lunch time and still not one member of the Corp that wardecked has bothered logging on. While this is not a major problem, and will be a bigger problem for my supposed 'current' OpFor as I have moved back into low sec, but it is a buggerance as it could have been a few days of fun.

But I have been looking at a lot of different Corp 'War reports' and it seems like 95% of Corp wars end up in zero combat, it is actually quite unusual to actually find any kill report.

To me it does appear that the whole War deck system is not 'fit for purpose' and realy needs a total revamp so as to make it meaningful again. If not, then get ride and use the server resources for more meaningful activities that players will use

Oh, and No, I am nothing at all to do with the OP of this thread.

Sometimes it can happen that you wardec someone without proper background check and all you got are targets in different timezones. With your corp member count of 1 this could be what happened to you.

How can you be wardecced then?
In the EvE i play npc corps cant be wardeced.

I didn't say I was war dec'd....
