edit... Motsu, post above.. He is not a top rated PVPer

http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Cpt+Boomstick

I mean he is literally a "top ranked" pvper. pvp meaning he kills other players, "top ranked" meaning thats the exact award he has next to his name because hes ranked inside the top 10,000 players, 1970 something to be exact. So what exactly is there to argue.

Out of around half a million pool of players on the boards.
For example you have twice as many kills as you have losses, but you're ranked 213,000 something.

You could be with an alliance since 2005 scoring 15,000 kills but if you're always among a gang of 20-100 you wont have as good as a score as this guy because more points are rewarded per kill for soloists, its more difficult than blobbing the crap out of people all day long.

There's solo pilots and then there's carebear killing solo pilots.

Flipping cans and tricking missionrunners in high sec would be the lowest form of solo-piloting.
If theose were solo kills in 0,0 or low-sec against ships with proper setups and tackle then it would be another story.

I give any coordinated solo activity much more credit than most of "pvp" which is generally 5-100 people killing 1. Have you ever tried doing what hes doing and got anywhere near the frequency of results he does?

There's no question that killing missionrunners in high sec solo is more challanging than F1,F2,F3,F4- ing rince and repeating yourself thru fleetfights.

That said the difference between soling in 1. high sec and 2. against PvE targets are way... WAY different than solo PvP in the competitive surroundings of low/null sec. You don't have to take my word for it because any half decent PvPer will recognize and confirm this view.

Sure, props to the OP for soloing but we should make no misstake in recognizing that this is the least riskfull and least difficult way to go about it. Saying that someone is a top ranked solo pilot doesn not tell the whole story, you will have to look at the nature of the kills.

coordinated solo.......

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is an oxymoron.

Either way, can baiting and ninjaing mission runners isn't terribly hard. Its a pure numbers game, find the guy dumb enough to have lockback on AND his drones aggressive, red up and leg hump.

Not like you have to deal with PvP things like, points, or neuts or anything like that so it's real just a matter of popping drones.

So either this is fake, or your mustache is all powerful. Since I don't like to go around accusing folks, I will point at the power of the mustache. I shall be growing one shortly. Nice kill.

There is absolutely no risk to him.. how can you call what he does PvP.. Mission runners don't fit point's so if he starts loosing he warps off.. this could have happened to him hundreds of times.. you just don't see it. He's a bully.. plain and simple.. What you basically saying as long as you get 1000's of KM's you good at PvP.. so I could just pop my alt a few thousand times and I am a PVP legend...

Whats everyone got their panties in a bunch over, if they actually looked down my killboard half of them are war targets where there's plenty of risk. I'll spend a block of time doing shenanigans for entertainment, a block of time doing war targets, i've lived in null sec, spent chunks of time in low. Everyone here keeps talking nonsense in the context that a person only does one type of pvp.

There is some merit to what Motsu was saying about coordinated effort. Out of all the pvp I do, ninja mission runners is by FAR the most complicated. I won't go into details, but it takes more 2 accounts 2 computers, 2 keyboards, 2 mice to do a swap properly. Both accounts needing specific skills to pull it off without giving the bear much or any time window to escape. It that seems vague or makes you scratch your head. I don't really care. Just trust me.

But back on topic, this video is for entertainment, its not a showcase. I realized early I was going to be able to ace this domi with the frig alone, so I warped off the orca (in the beginning of vid you'll see it on grid already) and had that account return with more ammo for my 150's. Its just for fun folks.
