Lols... no by pirate i mean working for the pirate factions. Then concord puts a bounty on you and what not and people shoot at you because you are red and you shoot at them because they are red.... you know? what rats do all day?

Please, by all means, shoot at me in your shiny megathron in highsec.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

I support this, if someone wants to become an Angel or join the Serpentis, why not?

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

So, to be clear, you want a perpetual suspect flag that can never be upgraded to criminal.

Concord will never chase or attack you, but you can shoot at and be shot at by any player.

No additional flagging on either end will result.

I would say go to null sec, but the moment you enter any system with normal ratters, they will vanish.

Tough interest to satisfy, it would seem.

And shoot high sec players without concord interrupting, hate on empire space!!! Twisted
But concord set a bounty on you depending on your ship worth for players to bother about.
For example its like setting insurance but on a pirate ship, if you where in a Macheriel you'd be worth half a billion, depending on how much you kill you are worth more :)

The hull value of each ship you kill gets added to your bounty, until it is collected by someone and resett.

No, you are always a criminal :) to join a Pirate faction you'd need to bee -7.5 with the 4 main factions (or of a certain space like FW maybe) Pirates cant trust you if you are to close to the main faction Roll

You still need a pass to avoid concord, unless you want to lock out secured space from this.

You cant use gates pirates have special means of travelling with special connections in highsec, depending on the system you can pass different ships in these pirate outpost like cyno bridges a bit...

This could be fun.

I would also suggest ISK laundering services, where looted goods obtained by pirate characters could be resold for a fee.
Sort of a black market dealing with the loot they get.

(I don't see them as able to dock in normal stations except in pirate owned locations, making them of value.)

Yes that would be great, black market basically, now also i can see some kind of LP system where you can get pirate modules and ships. But using them makes you more LP meaning instead of reselling them you should use the ones you find effective maybe and put them on your ship.

Right ship: 95%+
Right Mods: 35%+

So using a bigger ship would also give you more space to put mods, making you more LP to get more ships, tho the numbers should be discussed by our economist first Blink
But maybe the products should be set in LP by other players who i build these modules? so basically people should also have the right to be industrial but for the faction, because why not? This is all playing around here but this sounds good lols :) we need a pirate expansion!!!.... i want to fight for the revolution!.... or what ever pirates fight for in this future

In conjunction with insurance payments this can lead to ISK printing.

No because it costs you for your ship, meaning this is just like reselling it at a lower price, but to the enemy.

now if you tell me you can have insure a pirate ships no you cant, pirate ships are not insurable at reasonable prices

Hmmm, I could see this not being OP'd, if there are enough restrictions placed upon it:

#1) You can only attain this status while flying in a Pirate rookie ship (can make RP mumbo-jumbo about some special concord beacon scrambler or whatever being fitted on the pirate ship)

1a) The pirate rookie ship will be approximately as weak as the empire noob ships - similar HP, fitting, etc - fewer but more focused bonuses, bonuses are fixed and not ship skill dependent

1b) These ships are NPC seeded from pirate stations LP stores in NPC null
1c) These ships are contraband cargo

#2) You cannot dock in any station belonging to any empire faction.

#3) Any non pirate who fleets with you inherits a suspect tag - any POS you access becomes a valid target for 24 hours

#4) Any non pirate who assists you (reps, sebo, etc) gets concordokkened

#5) Any time 3 or more pirates are on the same grid at the same time, they show up as a warpable cosmic signature, similar to the pirate dens, refuges, etc.

#6) Empire navies will shoot on sight. Concord will not chase you, but maybe it will shoot you if it is on grid? gate guns will shoot at you?

#7) You can be podded without repercussions

In short:
You start in lowsec/null sec in a ship that is a bit crappy and a bit expensive, and must travel through gates where NPCs harass you to reach the high sec mission hubs. If you form groups, players can easily find you. Refitting and servicing your ship is a pain is high sec, or requires that you risk an Orca
