Hey, if the worst happens they'll sell EVE to cover their debts. So it's just a matter of who buys it

I really don't want it to be SOE though.

Came expecting unsubstantiated rumour that CCP was selling out to EA, which is how you properly ruin a flagship game P
Left disappointed.

That enlightening moment when you realize OP cared less

Your statement implies that there is a margin of care involved, couldn't care less would be more appropriate.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

1) Create an absolutely horrid FPS that requires code X to run; attempt to integrate a universal launcher requiring X to launch all products; tie in previously incredibly high uptime MMO to require code X due to launcher integration
2) Code X resources fail routinely causing all services to tank
3) ???
4) bankrupt

1) Listen to players. Especially players that want no new features or progress at all
2) Wait till players die or leave
3) Biomass self
4) Mission accomplished

For the record, this issue had nothing to do with the launcher. The problem was that the new EVE Universe CREST API, used by the DUST Client and the EVE Launcher and long-term replacement for the EVE API, was partly unable to connect to the TQ proxy servers. Eventually we had to reboot TQ to get things working again. At all times the EVE Launcher was working properly but resources it depends on were not. We apologise for that incident last night.

You've told others in this thread to learn how to read, and yet, in a quote you, yourself, posted from CCP Explorer, you fail to read what is being said, and immediately blame what you want to blame.

Please re-read CCP Explorer's comment (I'll even emphasize the part you need to re-read a few times):

CCP Explorer wrote:

Emphasis is mine. The part between the bolded lines, mentioning the DUSt client and the EvE launcher? That was a brief description of just what the CREST API was; the line you used to attribute the problems to DUST was probably the most meaningless line in CCP Explorer's entire quote. Congratulations! I am assuming English is not your first language? Elsewise, well...

It was really nice of you to quote something that proves his point more than it proves yours though, bravo.

It's not a halo clone

it's a planetside 1 clone .

no way. PS1 had nukes, backpacks, global spam, interfarms, DSC farms, AND tech farms. dust has none of these.

Either the OP is generically speaking, or directly at CCP.
If the first is true, this thread doesn't belong on this forum. If the second is true it's rumour mongering at best or an attack at CCP at worst. Both are at least frowned upon.
And because you don't want angry looking Vikings with swords looming over you, I'm locking this thread. For your own safety of course...Twisted
