I made a few billion months back selling empty WHs that I found as a byproduct of scanning for routes from null-sec to high from the space of my former alliance.

I've also made several billion on the markets. This last week I've earned 2.5bil, tabbing into the game for a minute every 5-30 minutes to update orders, while I was doing other stuff.

Hub trading for me, with some station trading and speculation on the side.

I check my offers once every 5-30 minutes, and I usually make one round trip to all of the major hubs a day, sometimes two if I have a lot of time on my hands. I also made a fairly decent amount (~200 mill) off the recent rise in Burned Logic Circuits. My income isn't that much relatively speaking, but still pretty good for a noob like me with no skills. I managed to make enough isk during the trial to buy my PLEX with 300 mill left in cash and assets to continue trading, and now 4 days later I'm sitting on 145 mill in liquid isk, ~590 mill (conservative estimate) in buy/sell offers and 100 mill I lent to a friend so he could get his business set up.

I think you're going to find people purposely vague - spilling the beans about exactly what it is you do to make money and how much you're making is a great way to get 50 more people doing the same exact thing you are.

As long as you have a mining permit and follow the Code, mining ice can still be profitable. Remember to only mine what you need.

Some golden tips right there.

Fly straight and don't get too greedy my friend. Of course respect the Code.

Since this thread is going to be read by quite a few newbies, I thought it wise to point out some of the not so obvious (to new players) scams out there.

This "Code" business, and "Mining Permits" are good examples of EvE meta-gaming scams. The gist of it is that you are supposed to mine with a permit in highsec or the ebil piwates will gank your mining ship, or that there is some Code of Conduct with regards to mining ( LOL, sorry but that makes me laugh every damn time ).

These are just player made-up ideas to trick newbies into paying isk to the scammers.

The simple counter to these highsec scams is to find a different, and quieter, area of highsec to mine from where you wont be harassed by griefers .

Highsec is a big place(s), theres plenty of belts for all, so it is not difficult to find a nice area to mine.

Mine in small fleets. It's easier to deal with npcs and griefers that way. Solo mining is much higher on the risk scale.

I got 5 billion isk from Eveportraits a week or two ago. Other than that, I just do some nullsec bearing or take tags in lowsec or something. I tend to just fly around a lot, exploring the universe and looking for opportunities.

The same things I've always done to make my isk...

#1 being not explaining to lazy people in detail how I make my isk.

Building caps.

Every 2 weeks:

Create 7 buy orders for minerals
Start build jobs for 3.5k 425mm railguns
Jump JC full of 425mm railguns to lowsec
Reprocess railguns
Start build jobs for components
Start build jobs for hulls
Create a few sell orders for hulls

Probably about 1 hour and around 200 clicks every couple of weeks. Pros: very little work, Cons: requires about 60bn invested

I like to have fun playing even so mining for 8 hours a day just isnt for me. I love PvP so if I can make isk shooting stuff i`m all for it.
I ratt sanctums in 0.0 space in my thanny I can make around 100mil/hour on a good day.
Allows me to shoot stuff in my carrier. also allows me to jump back to HQ if some defence fleet is needed.

0.0 Carrier ratting
Steps are as follows:
-I just jump into a good system.
-scan
- warp to the first sanctum or forsaken hub I find
- let isk poor in, just make sure im align to warp out at the first sign or trouble.
Some times you`ll get a officer spawn. nice faction mods inside too

Hope we can get a good list going Here. Help the noobs out and eachother.

The problem is you and with you most eve players look at isk/hour from an active stance. This is the only reason why a decent trader will allways outdo your isk/hour in a 23/7 timeframe.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

Very true me being a PvPer Im not really doing things in the market tading or PI where isk is made when im logged off.
Im assure make trading requires a good amount oh knownledge of the markets and hubs, supply and demand and keeping up to date.... For me it seems like alot of work when all my effort goes into bettering myself in PvP, tactics, and politics

Trading does show alot of promise tho.. its just the fun factor of trading can`t compare with that of one where you shoot stuff or explore but thats all personal preference i guess

Choking people until they give me isk and ships.

And donations from people that like what I do.

Two alts are into PI, sell the stuff and buy Moongoo for it. Zimmy then uses the moongoo to build t2 weapons and ammo that the alts then sell on the markets.
I think the concept works pretty fine, but since I am lazy, I have optimized the whole system towards minimum effort.
I could earn much more if I invested more time into this little network, but since frigs and cruisers are cheap I don't need much money anyway.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.
