Mining missions and crystals

It is useful for me to these at this time because of the less attention I need to pay to complete them. However, I have T2 strip miners and I am being asked to collect some weird variants of the conventional ore found in belts.
This leaves me with a sort of dilemma - what crystals do I load in my strip miners to mine these ores? I don't want to waste crystals as t2 crystals are expensive for no return, so do I load no crystals? There are no instructions on the best or better miner to use and what crystal to fit in them.

CCPs feedback would be useful.

Picture of the required ore should match a corresponding normal ore, which then gives you the appropriate crystal. The info text on the ore is also an indicator. Normally states something like "variant of XY".

Or just be laisy and use T1-Strips. Normally you don't need that much of ore anyways.
