I've been doing some flying around since I created my account, and I have noticed something curious about some of the stars in the Eve-verse. When I do "show info"->"attributes" on some of the stars I have passed by, the ages have come out at like 8, 20, 50bn years! That's kind of astounding, considering that the age of the universe is only about 14bn years... I thought Eve didn't take too far in the future (in the scheme of things in the universe). Is this a sneak peek at part of the Eve story which has not been touched on yet or just programming quirks?

I think this is likely more of a typo than anything else. I've dipped my toes into the lore waters before but read nothing about ~50bn years. I could be wrong but regardless well done for picking up such a small detail.

Yeh I would guess they just typed in some **** that sounded really old, without thinking too much about it. But you should launch an investigation to get to the bottom of things, indeed. Never know what might come up ^^

I thought the eve wormhole was not only a passage through space but also through time.

That's why no earth ships ever found the cluster because it does not exist in their time.

The only explanation is,,, the eve galaxy does not exist in the same universe as the milky way galaxy....

They are old because the space you are flying through has the viscosity of motor oil. This has been known to make stars age fast, according to the hand book of sci-fi-magic fluff n stuff.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  - William Pitt
