'Eve Online: Crucible' would appear to be the title of the next expansion.

A severe, searching test or trial

Do they think this next patch will either make or break the game, or maybe the whole company?

it will not make the company , the "Where is my WiS?" and "No shiny new features!" camps will take care of that.

But it might prevent the company from breaking nevertheless.

Sounds ok, I always look forward to the login page - spaceship shooting cool stuff is the winner so far.

Erm... so "a place or occasion of severe test or trial" isn't the appropriate descirption of... i don't know.. Singularity TEST server? The place where this information was gathered?

And here I am wondering if there's a way I can turn off the login animations. Maybe denying EVE read access or something.
