I was playing with some fittings last night and i noticed that ballistic control units increase the RoF of rocket launchers but not rocket damage?

WTF? bcu gives bonus to both RoF and damage so why arnt my rocket warheads getting a damage boost? or is this some bug with stats not displaying correctly?

Where are you looking at these stats? They apply correctly for me.

IIRC the damage on ammunition is visible only in space, unless they changed it.

I dont use ingame stuff because its generally not that helpful when used to eft type figures but I also believe the damage modifier applies to the modules and not the actual ammo, so looking for a change to the ammo would not help? Then again you don't get to see a damage modifier on launchers? Been a while since I checked in-game. Regardless, as far as I know looking at charges only shows their base damage so any modifier should not be applied to that figure.

First, check the ammo damage from the market screen or your hanger to get a baseline amount. Then check it when loaded on the ship. If there is any difference at all, then you can be reasonably sure that damage bonuses/penalties are being shown. But I do know the ammo must be loaded in the launchers, and the info checked from the fitting screen. Missile velocity and flight time bonuses are shown. So I assume damage bonuses are as well.

Failing that, undock and try it again while in space. Pretty sure this doesn't make a difference. But maybe CCP bugged it with some recent change. Make sure to reload the info screen every time you change something. The info doesn't auto-update, unlike market and wallet info.

Failing that, go out with the BCU online, and shoot 1 volley at something. Then check your combat log for actual damage (don't forget resists apply here). Now offline a BCU and shoot another single volley. Check the log again and compare damage.

If you still don't show any change in applied damage, clear cache (forced relog). Repeat the above experiment. If then it still shows no increase in damage, I would file a bug report.
