Deep Space Scanner Probes Removed?

I went to start scanning today.. I always use the Deep Space Scanner probe to check out a system before launching other probes to get my tactical overlay of the system. Turns out they where removed from my inventory? I cannot find them on market anywhere what is going on here?


Also I asked in help I was told the on board ship scanner can do the same thing as the Deep Space Scanner probe but it's not detecting ships.

Wormhole scanning is now nerfed. Enjoy scanning out every single signature in a system with 90 sigs.

its not bad. Not too hard to do a poor mans DSP with combats. Scanning is so easy I just use combats all the time now anyhow. I can still find the static many times out of 90 sigs like I did with DSP's

They were deemed overpowered and removed from the game. Part of their functions were added to the new scanning system, but not everything. Combat probes are the best substitute for what you want.
