anyone else got a broke bar, mine displays the same as the filtered tab list, or displays empty. I normally have several 100 items listed there, most for the stuff i sell and the rest for reference.

ever since the patch from last week, its not working. any fixes, other than wiping/resetting all my settings??

I have the exact problem you are describing.
A few patches later, it is still here.

If someone figured out how to fix it, please share.

Bug report it?

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Yes please bug report it so they can ignore it.

Same issue here, I was told to bug report it. No response yet.

done the report, just says Filtered now. no response.

think it may have to do if you had some items noted there, that were removed on the last patch -- Sisters Probes i think might be the cause......as they are gone now and i had all probes listed in my market bar.

It's my belief that it's the inclusion of items in the list that are no longer in the game, specifically Sisters Deep Space probes in my case.

The only way to fix it is to go to:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\d_games_eve_tranquility\settings
**Your install directory will most probably be different**

and delete or overwrite the offending user.dat and char.dat

EG: one of mine looks like:
core_char_580XXXXXX.dat
core_user_150XXXXX.dat

1) Log into and out of your market alt (or the character with the issue)

2) Navigate to the folder listed above (your install directory will be different)

3) Sort the list by date last modified, the one last modified is the character you last logged in to.

Here you can either overwrite the offending character.dat or user.dat with another characters user & char.dat if you use roughly the same UI throughout your accounts.

Bear in mind that what you overwrite with must not contain items in the quickbar that are no longer available in game.

Or you can simply delete both user & char.dat and re-do your UI.

4) Copy & paste the user & char.dat files from another character

5) Copy the filename from the broken user & char.dat

6) Delete the broken user & char.dat

7) Paste the filename of the broken user & char.dat into the copied good user & char.dat

I swear it's not as complicated as I'm making it out to be....
I'm just sucking at explaining it.

When it's fixed, then that would be an EXCELLENT time to add all the files in that folder to a zip file and store them in another folder away from the eve installation.

You should try to do this whenever you remember to.

It would say "attached to defect" if BH team took this seriously/could recreate it. But it's not so dont expect a Fix. Working as intended.

"Working as intended" is CCP's version of "it's not a bug, it's a feature".
