Help! Need to adjust fonts larger than 13!!!

Shocked Going blind here.

I've got a pair of ATI HD5750's running in a Crossfire config and a 32 inch TV as a monitor. But, I have to run this game on the minimum resolution that EVE can run at because the font size of 13 (which is the highest setting I could find) looks like little spots that might be text, or could be stars bleeding through the interface for all I can tell, at the 1080p setting.

I'll grant. My eye's aren't what they used to be, but I'll bet I'm not the only one that is struggling with this. Ugh

I'm still on my trial membership, but from what I've seen so far, I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue playing. I'm just afraid I'm going to make myself go blind, trying to read ALL that information with my face only a foot and a half from my screen.

For a reference, the "13" point font on my screen in only 7 pixels, or 4 mm.

Now, if I could set my system up on our 42 inch TV in the living room, it would be great! Unfortunately, my wife won't hear of it. Trust me, I tried! Lol

Any suggestions... other than buying a bigger monitor, would be greatly appreciated. Smile

If it helps, you can adjust the text size in the chat channels with the little pluses and minuses on the chat channel controls.

Beyond that you're SOL my friend. Eve is designed for computer monitors, not TV's.

Is this another aspect of Eve's non-pandering to carebears and other MMO's players? ;)

Eve doesn't hold your hand with adjustable font sizes and dumbed-down interfaces, you must learn to live with squinting like Popeye or I'mafraidEveisn'ttheMMOforyou :)

You think a real space shuttle's got giant primary colour buttons and font 48 Simple English labels all over the cockpit? This isn't one of those Hello Kitty games, you know, this is a SIMULATOR!

Get some RL implants (spectacles, I think you old-timers call them) and a bottle of aspirin for the monitor-induced migraines that are coming, and learn to love 'em!

I too wish we could increase the fontsize, OP. i've got a 72-incher in the living room, already plugged into the desktop. Eve looks gorgeous on it, but I'd probably get radiation sickness if I played for any length of time on it, not to mention whiplash, as I'd have to be about 3 feet away from it! :)

Many, if not all, modern TVs are designed to function also as computer monitors and have dedicated connections and settings for that purpose.

Under graphic settings on the left column turn up UI scaling.
