When will NPCs start using the newer ships?

We've had some new dessies, BCs, and BSes added over time but I can't remember seeing the NPCs using any of them. Would it kill anyone to have an L4 mission or a 4/10 combat site that pitted you against a single T3? Considering the number of ships pirates can waste, you'd think they'd have the money to throw around a few T3s as well.


I'm also surprised the Guristas don't have a missle/drone corax by now.

They don't even use tier 2 battlecruisers yet, and those have been around since before I started playing (Tyrannis).

tier 2 battlecruisers = harbinger, drake, myrmidon, hurricane

Lv4 "Gone Berserk" features the new Armageddon model very nicely. That, however, is about the closest we come to what you're asking for.

Would also be nice to see tier 3 battleships in missions (abaddon, rokh, hyperion, maelstrom). And of course we want to eventually see all of the new ships. I wouldn't mind seeing a primae/noctis NPC rat either.

I'd also like to see this happen, I don't understand why CCP continues to use such a limited amount of the available ships. Would be a simple albeit superficial way to make missions and such more diverse.

As for T3s in missions, it would be interesting to see these come into play for special events/triggers, maybe if you blitz a room quick enough a formidable squad of T3s warp in, just spitballing but sure they could come up with some cool stuff.
