currently, on newedenfaces.com top 100:

37/100 are Caldari

21/100 are Achura

96/100 are female. lolz!

I think it's safe to say... Achura is OP. sure, the Caldari thing is due, in part, to focused character re-rolls pre-2009, but still...

Partially due to them being OP when the Achura finally invented space travel and partially due to the male Achuras at the time looking completely and utterly ridiculous.


I do remember in very early Eve when I tried making a nice looking Female Civere and I could just not do it (pre Achura)

Edit: Hah got a Kaltana on the random roll there.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

I'd like to add that I spent a ton of time morphing every female face and found that most of them are "hard coded" ugly.

that is, by what I understand to be conventional good-looking in terms of facial geometry--the preset limits of what you can reduce or accentuate dictates mandatory manly or bony.

as a fix I think there could be more freedom to reduce things like brow bones, cheek bones, noses, chins.

...about 20% more

that I should worry about losing my hearing is nonsense, because there will always be -=BASS=-

Meanwhile Deteis might be one of the more cursed female races but I personally could not be happier with how I look.

as Angelique said: go look at the portraits of Achura males from 5 years ago, would you really want your character to look like that? Bearing in mind there was no character makeover at that time.

lol my deteis has been consistently in the top 20 for a lot of the time. and my main has trouble staying in the top 50. What?

The Gallente are vaguely French and the Minmatar are sort of New Zealand.

Beyond that none of the races of New Eden can be called a descendent of any other.

I'm hoping for more ethnic groups to play as too, bring on the Thukkor tribe Big smile

Even if everyone voted objectively, there's no way for it to work right. I may sound as bitter as an onion, but the 40/245 will get one there Roll
Also speaking of Achuras, I tend to think it's much harder to make a pretty/attractive achura than a brutor/sebiestor.
