To be fair having a higher approval rating than congress is hardly something that requires much effort.

Congress is not subject to anyone's approval. They made people think that the presidential election was the vote of power and now they sit for life on a 95% re-election rate with no limit on terms while holding all the power.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.

LOL. Congress's approval rating has been around or below 20% for decades.

On the other hand... each member of Congress generally has very good approval ratings from their respective constituents, around 60-70% on average. Strangely enough.

Every two years each representative goes back to their home district for re-election, and blames it all on the other 434 of them.

The worst cat videos on Youtube have a higher approval rating than congress.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

There is certainly some truth in the upper statement Lol <3 <3 <3 cats

I found a nice statement from a cat on YT :

"Mr. Cat"

Dear Mr. O***a, First of all, I should let you know that I am typing this with my middle finger.

I have absolutely no way to carry on a private conversation with another person other than driving to their house and whispering in the closet! .............I went to sleep in America and woke up in China! I absolutely refuse to trade any liberty what so ever for safety and the constitution does not require me to do so, it does protect my liberties from those who would!

Be interesting if the House of Representatives adopted the proportional representation system as opposed to the first past the post.

Hey I've seen a fair few conservatives defend this guy as a whistleblower of government overreach, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity for example.

Even seen Bill Maher defending it, its interesting to see where peoples stands are. Gotta admit a certain respect for O'Reilly to be honest, it's a pity its Fox that gives him a platform.

Nice link. Proportional representation for dummies, or why "winner takes it all" is bad Big smile
