When not playing EVE, I know weird but it happens, we spend our free-time watching 'Ichi the Killer', 'American Psycho', and 'A Clockwork Orange' over and over again.

And oh my sides! They just get more and more funny with each watching.

Dont forget partaking in a forceful bit of the old "in-and-out"

In eve online people find other like minded individuals to group with. In low security space like minded individuals tend to be more hostile, they want you to cry, but they also want to impress their e-friends with a killboard inflated with the deaths of trial accounts.

In eve online not many people can 1v1 effectively without 10 years of training, so they form into gangs of blobs, these blobs go fourth and attempt to be scary, but they are not scary, you see I am a carebear, and I never leave high security space or undock.

Are you talking from experience, or are you one of the 1 bazillion psycoanalysts whe got here in EVE? I have spend 4 years living in low sec and the only experience I have had with people also living there is them being friendly as soon as we were done shooting at each other. People in low sec are neither afraid of others or has some mental disease they take out on other people. They are simply people looking for pvp, in a game that forfills that purpose.

When people then rage after they are killed in epic proportions, thats when the tear collecting starts. But what other way should you look at people commonly giving death treaths over a game? The way you are treated is only a reflection of how you act yourself. So its easy to conlude that if your experience with low sec dwellers is that they are being hostile to you, maybe you consider if its not them, but your attitude thats the problem?

As soon as 2 days ago, I and some friends killed a CNR in low sec. He convoed us and we thought "here comes the rage". It didnt. He asked what he had done wrong and I spend the next 2 hours talking to him about how he should avoid getting killed in the future and how he could make money without using overly expensive ships. He had the right attitude and he got treated friendly all the way.

Watching 'A Clockwork Orange' at age 13 = PTSD

Where were parental filters back in the day?

Come to think of it, it wasn't much better in my 20s. Oy!

This was of course before 4chan, the WWW as we know it and South Park.

They never made it to nullsec or w-space. If you compare eve to wow, highsec is the equivalent of lvl 1-29 twinking, lowsec lvl 30-39, nullsec lvl 49-60, and w-space expansion endgame. The eve scrubs are often just too dim to realize this food chain.

First off, I detest the notion us lowsec folk would be mean all the time. Sure, a gentlemen that I have not had the please with of exchanging charges in an enjoyable joust yet, simply must be thrown the gauntlet! Afterwards scones and tea and an animated debate about ship fittings, what seems to be the problem? Secondly, these comparisons to themepark MMO tiers does not correlate with my experience. At one point I have moved into nullsec and wspace but moved back to lowsec with my newfound experiences. The chain you describe is merely based on projected income levels of these respective spaces.

I got into quite a riot with some BNI-miners when I first stated neutrals are basically targets in low/null. That is, until they got blown up just like I said. I felt the same way Rancer, until I got blown up. If you want safe mining, make sure the system is desolate or filled with friends. If not, mine in highsec, and make sure you aren't a war target waiting to get ganked under a false impression of safety. Or simply make a second character that can haul/mine in peace.
