Hi all,

For some time our alliance went looking for a template/software/anything we could use to manage SRP within our corp/alliance, however could find nothing publicly available. Most of the bigger alliances I knew and had questioned all had custom code written for their respective websites by an internal member which is difficult to replicate onto a different setup/programming language etc.

So as a result we embarked on a project to create an SRP module which could be distributed and shared easily to the eve community, and this we have done.

What we are offering through a combination of publicly available software and modifications with our own modules:

Your corp/alliance (or both) website featuring:
-Full integration with the EVE API for website registration, character & access management
-A customisable killboard
-Forums
-Ship replacement program (can be sold stand alone)
-512 slot Teamspeak 3 server with API registration & automated management, full integration with the eve API

Most of this stuff listed is pretty standard what you find with any other website service, however our SRP module sets us apart from the rest. The SRP module is a piece of custom code created by our members and acts as a bridge between the forum and killboard software.

The SRP module allows users to login to either the forums or killboard, where they see a "Ship replacement" button at the top of the page. Clicking on this shows the user a list of their losses since joining, including date/time and ship type. The user can then select the desired loss and request a replacement. The requests are sent to an approver queue which can be managed by an administrator in the back end approver queue. The types of ships available to be requested for replacement can also be filtered/set to desired types so your nullbears dont go requesting replacements on those carriers they just lost whilst ratting.

We have a few different pricing options. If you are already running eve-bb, we can sell the SRP module standalone. If you are not running eve-bb, we can provide everything you need to upload onto your server with instructions to get it all going.

If you dont have anything at all, and dont have any web-bros in your corp to help you out, we can provide everything you need to make it happen including the technical resource, you will simply need to provide temporary access details to your server and our web-bros will go in and set everything up for you!

AND if you dont have a server to use, we can set you up with one of those too!

We dont charge for slots or have recurring charges. A 512 slot teamspeak3 server would cost you around 1 billion isk per month to rent just for that, no forums, killboard or SRP. But we just have once-off fees which you pay and then never have to worry about again. You need to provide your own website domain and server to host this on, we can help you set those up if you require and dont have already.

Prices:

SRP module standalone - 1.0 B ISK
Full website pack with setup instructions - 2.0 B ISK (requires basic web-bro knowledge to deploy - linux)
Full website pack deployed on your server by our web-bros - 3.0 B ISK

Optional: Support & Maintenance fee - one time charge of 500million ISK and as the eve API is updated, along with forum and other software, we will add you to a mailing list and provide you with code updates periodically as neccessary.

If you require a server to host this on, we will not charge this additionally as we will not provide hardware, however we will step you through the process to rent your own VPS (virtual private server) which you can use to host all of this on. They are very cheap and can be obtained within minutes online.

really wasnt expecting as many as enquiries as we've had since my initial posting! sorry for the delay responding in some cases, I was literally camping low sec amarr gates whilst forwarding emails around to our technical people all weekend!

-no we dont have a test site up and running at this stage, however due to the demand for it, this is now in the works

Some additional FAQs:

-VPS needs to be running LINUX Ubuntu and only needs about 1GM ram. Google "Linux VPS" for a starting place

-We're investigating a POS Renforce timer feature but isn't something we currently have (looks doable, though)

-Our SRP module pulls the loss mail data from eve-kill - not from the killboard we will provide you. there are obvious reasons for this
A noteworthy point, the SRP module doesn't currently actually allow you to filter the available/not available ship types for request. However this code is literally in development right now and isn't far away from being ready. This was contrary to my initial understanding as written in the OP.

Hi. We may be interested in the SRP module as a standalone. We use a forum software different than eve-bb and I had a few questions about how that may work or what it needs to operate outside of the eve-bb system.
