Was there an expiry date on the redeemable? (Honest question — didn't check; don't remember).
Maybe you/he just didn't pick it up in time?

Talk to the guy, ask him about it. If your account was active for it, you should have got one.

Not that it's so much a big deal if you didn't. They are in the 80 mill range. Even if your buddy sold it when they came out, you can buy 3 now for the price he sold it for then.

actually this happened to one of my accounts. everything was there but the gnosis. several days later the gnosis finally mysteriously appeared. but yea your "buddy" probably took it.

I reactivated an account on the 10 year anniversary and there was an expiration date of June 1st or June 4th for the redeem items.

I believe that the award expired sometime in early June. So if you didnt redeem it before then you lost it.
