Cannot Upgrade Account

When I try to upgrade my account from trial to full. A message pops up saying it is unable to authorize my card. I know there is money in the account and that the card is good, just used it at Walmart like a couple hours ago. Is the system experiencing issues? Or do I need to call the bank and have them lift international limitations?

If I remember correctly, transactions go via 2 hops (1 to the UK and the next is Iceland). This could be the reason why it fails to authorize.

I'd give the bank a ring (as it should give a reason their end) to see why.

Figured as much. Its a local bank too. Probably have limitations that theyd need to unflag the card/account for in order to do so.

The card may also have cyber-security features, where physically using it at Wal Mart is accepted, but paying for anything over the Internet requires them to call you first to confirm.

Used it for online purchases and electronic charges over the net before, but they were inside the US.

A lot of banks block transfers out of country. Just call the bank and they can help.

By default any transactions made to a country outside the European Union is blocked by my bank by default (Dutch player here).
