EVE Vision of the future!

You are walking through a station after having just spoken to an agent about your next mission. You are heading back to your hangar when you accidentaly bump into another capsuleer. You realize she is holding some kind of scanner that sounds a completion tone as you untangle yourself. Thinking nothing of it you apologize and continue on your way. You later undock and head out into space. Next thing you know a capsuleer has you locked down and is blasting away at you. You state you are willing to pay ransom. After all, you reason to yourself, you have almost 1billion isk worth of implants. They just keep shooting. You look at the capsuleer and realize it is the same one you bumped into earlier on the station. It clicks. She had scanned you down for impants and was now going to salvage them from your corpse. You look at the self destruct button but realize that won't stop her from getting what she wants. There's nothing you can do.

How did they get past the 2000 person spec force security detail trained and brainwashed from their clone birth to loyally protect me? How did they disable the 600 kill drones that surround me at all times? Further more how did they even reach that far with 30 floors cordoned of and locked down with 5 inch energy shielded blast doors and motion alarms...

We fly Battleships worth more than the GDP of Norway and sometimes 3 times that much in our head, you really think we are going to be skimping on the in station security to the point where some nameless scrub can apparently point a scanner at us let alone a hand gun? Your vision of the future is a lot like Bill Gates walking alone through the hood on international no police day coated in gold clothing with a role of thousand dollar bills in each hand.

My vision of the future involves 30 background checks before you're on the same floor talking to me through atomic bomb proof shielded space glass and you better have a damn good reason we aren't doing this by hologram.

Wait - people leave their pods?

They're making our quafe out of people!! Next thing they'll be breeding alts like cattle for more... you gotta tell 'em! YOU GOTTA TELL 'EM!!!

It will never happen BUT i actually like this idea.

It would be nice to be able to grind them into Quafe Zerolike boosters or dig some implants out of the head. Put a little alchemy into it and there could be a use for the 9000 mostly useless commodities in the game.

You don't have much of a social life, do ya? ;)

That's why we will call it "new" Slurm and when people complain we will bring back classic Slurm!
