Today at 18:30 EVE time a small armada of 10 brave pilots left for an encounter with fate.

In exquisite welp fit Ventures the Armada made headway. After a brief issue with the EVE Audio was corrected (can we get an Audio Test option maybe?) the fleet moved towards their unknown destination in the depths of hostile territory, Fully expecting some form of gate camp along the way the crew was surprised to find a clear jump route to destination.

Upon arriving in in D-Z we encountered out first fleet. Our scout spied a bubbleless gate camp, however this did not pan out as hoped, upon jumping into system the hostiles moved assets into position and the jig was up. With bubbles in position the Ventures had only one choice burn to the gate cross their fingers and hope for a quick session change. Many brave pilots flamed out under the guns of the opposition, yet hope remained several pilots made it through and the precious cargo they carried from high sec was still en route to its destination.

The Test Dummies and Homeless brought to seek GSF assylum could see the light at the end of the tunnel, with the light of the B-D gate ahead of them 3 pilots made the final run before the home stretch, die or live operation TEST resupply was almost complete.

Unfortunately upon reaching the gate drag bubbles resulted in a required burn. Which allowed several ships to enter from B-D and to catch up from behind. Unfortunately 4K from gate the last pilot was executed in a brief fireball, followed by a scream that went unheard across the expanse of space.

All in all was a fun event, would have been nice to die on the B-D station like planned but honestly was surprised we made it as far as we did. No AWOX attempts, no surprise camps, no Smartbombing BS. Had a fun time leading you all to your deaths, I hope you enjoyed the new corpse animation!

Thanks to all who made it out.

Its happening, we may burn in fire, but there is a plan, there is a goal, and my ship can mine its cost before I leave.

Cost free PVP.

Lucky for you it is an 8 minute train, and you have nearly 3 days.

Can I bring a BS instead?

Bring whatever you want. A BS is a little impractical since you are going to be a neutral (or probably orange/red in your case) in a fight with ships that will hit your BS for full damage. Without logistic support you would basically be on your own, and at the mercy of the FC's on either side not calling you.

Not only that but you lack any mobility and get stuck in bubbles and be unable to get out. The strength of the DickVulture is its ability to avoid (usually) being pointed and its high speed to get out of bubbles. Basically it is really hard to catch.

You can bring a BS if you want. But I would be more concerned with the fact -A- has added some 500 people over the last few days. Especially since if I am not mistaken -A- does not forgive, and -A- does not forget.

But ya bring BS if you want. your choice. I wouldn't. But because it is deadstick without proper support, but hey I am just a guy who hauls **** in high sec.

I'm willing.

No drones on the build? Or would they be pointless?

Enough that we can have a good time, and probably disrupt a fight, provided our friends provide the warp in properly.

Why are we attacking the goons, are test not the bad guys?

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Drones are left off because they are more or less meaningless. The point of the fleet is not DPS. It is to pin logistics ships and either:

A) Force GSF to keep their subcaps on field risking poor engagement position or;
B) Force GSF to abandon the Logistics ships pinned resulting in an ultimately weaker sub capital fleet.

No one is a bad guy. I don't attack the Goons because they are bad. I attack them because they are relevant. It fits the narrative of a high sec flotilla, the ship represents what high sec is about. The target is Goons because they are the ones who publicly support the disruption of high sec. They are the ones who back the Burn Jitas, and the Hulkaggedons. They are the ones who fund Miniluv and the Ice Belt massacres. They are the ones who drove the manipulation of Tech which resulted in High Secs diminished influence in the production of T2 modules.

Attacking the Goons is a thing, they are the nemesis of EVE, even now the entirety of Null Sec is at their door. They have wronged just about every faction in EVE be it high, low or null.

That is the reason for goons, they fit the narrative, they are a footnote in EVE history.

The Goons flew against BOB in droves of Rifters.
We Fly against the new BOB in droves of Ventures.
