Consumable, tradable item for neural remaps

Sorry if this has been posted before, I didn't see it in the sticky, and search feature is currently not working for me.

Idea:

A new consumable item that grants a bonus neural remap when used. The item could be manufactured by players and traded or sold on the market.

Flavor:

This (drug/device/whatever) strengthens the capsuleer's neural tissue, allowing them to withstand the rigors of neural remapping ahead of the recommended schedule. Side effects include nausea, headache, brain hemorrhage, memory loss, spontaneous combustion, permanent infertility, and/or having Justin Bieber songs stuck in your head.

Pros:

  • Puts another aspect of the game in the hands of the players, i.e. more "sandbox."
  • People can undock with them and explode Twisted
  • Allows players to remap for skills that have uncommon primary attributes, e.g. memory for drones, which is currently sub-optimal given that you likely aren't going to be training drones for a whole year.
  • New players get free bonus remaps, so the negative effect on new players should be minimal.
  • Allows playing the game to have a positive impact on your skill training speed: i.e. make more isk-> more efficient training.
  • ???

Cons:

  • If too cheap, it trivializes the neural attribute system.
  • ???

I was about to say "absolutely not", until I read the part about side effects.

Perhaps if there was a % chance of "memory loss" in the form of losing a random amount of skillpoints within a certain range. I don't advocate adding more RNG to EVE, but for something like this it might balance things out.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

Sexual deviancy..?
...Does that mean this guy drank that stuff?

Also, I understood OP was including the list of side effects as a joke. I was capitalizing on that in my own way.
