Guys

this is for your benefit, since the patch 5 month ago when all the ships got beefed up, people failed to realize that CCP doubled the cost of MINS look at any blueprint and in Manufacturing you will notice bottom category that it says extra mins, this mean that 95% of people in EVE are selling ships at half the price they should be, this is all thx to CCP for screwing up the ship market.

just look at your numbers again and you will see how many billions of isk you are loosing.

E.G. a build cost on a DOMI is around 180 mil people are selling them for 100 mil you do the math

Unless there was one or two persons who where bright enough to build a Domi or five before the changes.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

You do realize that people made thousands of ships at the old build cost before the mineral changes and are making a profit compared to the build cost they made them at. These stockpiles will take a while to work through just like with all of the other ship balances that have happened.

This is nothing new. People have been doing that for ages.

…and it's excellent news for industrialists — it means there's an opportunity for you to make money while they waste theirs. Everyone wins! (for certain values of “everyone”).

Eventually they will under cut themselves to death and move on to something that doesn't require basic math to succeed at.

And it couldn't be that all of the industrialists "In the know" started building these ships 5 months ago in anticipation of the changes, and are now making a killing selling their Domis (for example) at 116mil when their actual build costs were much lower, based on when they built them (pre-odyssey).

Like any market, it isn't going to be able to adjust that much overnight. So the prices will slowly rise as the "Old build" ship stock is sold off.

The only people "losing" (yea 1 "o") billions are those who didn't get the memo and are trying to build them now with the new build costs. There is no point until the current stock is sold off.

No they didn't.

Most ships aren't doubled and some dont have extra mins at all

Sorry that New Eden isnt a Nanny State that fixes your prices for you like some sort of auction house in a Blizzard Game.

You're the first person to notice that ship builders have been losing money for the past 5 months. Well I'm sure they'll appreciate you figuring it out for them. They'll probably be glad to start earning some money again.

This sounds more like an "I just realized there is an extra minerals section"rant. Dev blogs outline extra minerals and what the purpose of them is IIRC.

yeah not all ships they left destroyers alone, but the point is its been 6 months nearly and im seeing day to day poeple putting ships on at below production cost, a no every one havnt stock piled a load of ship as they would be selling at the new high price not the old price

end of the day the Ship market is F+3%ed and most people are loosing isk and following the sheep on the market with out doing there homework,
