Do you have some very aggressive anti virus software running? CCP does break rules writing into the the /Programs directory so it is not your fault, but check if CCP is being prevented from breaking the rules.

Hello.

I experienced the following nasty problems:

1. "Look up on targets" effect burns my GPU, increasing lag-

2. no way to deactivate the windscreen wiper and the ballons (signatures) on my openspace rendering. The "hide sensor overlay" flag resets itself undocking and doesn't remove the windscreen wiper effect: I don't want pay for an arcade game and these new effects are slowing down my client. PvPers need to be competitive and your effects, useful for explorers only, limit my enjoy for this game.

Holding mouse on the systems on one's route no longer instantly shows the tooltip. Must be a bug because no-one is this bad at UI design.

Not my AV but; Yeah I found the culprit, manually edited the file as it for some reason rewrites to CCP defaults after each launcher start.

Any Idea when the Scanning Overview will be fixed? Cosmic Anomalies cannot be ignored. And you clear them, warp to a new site, and they all come back in the list. Quite annoying when you are out ratting, and have a particular anom you are only wanting to do, then have to go back through the entire list to find the want you want.

I kind of figured out my issue, so I need to ask --

WHY does having sound enabled need to take nearly 150 MBs of additional client memory space ???

My normally 700 MB clients (already excessive if you ask me) run between 800 & 850 MBs with sound enabled.

What gives!?!?!?

I love the sounds and need them on occasion, but really??

edit - Still having trouble seeing ship show info icons on killmails - Mac Client. Have cleared cache after each patch. Is a minor.

This is not specific to the Odyssey update but this is an active issues thread so I'll post here.

Recently (could be the last couple of months) I have noticed an increased occurrence of my decimal point appearing at the end (or after where it should be) of the prices I'm entering for orders.

Its happening too often now for it to be me somehow making a typo, its almost as if the typematic rate has been somehow adjusted or its when (maybe) the market screens are updating, it looses focus for a moment, but then this doesn't explain why it appears at the end of my price.

Something is ****** somewhere!

Now, couple this problem with the fact warning messages seem to be totally borked and meaningless. I'm not sure why I get a warning (for example) that my price is +/- 455462346546345563% different from the region price when the item has sold solidly for 4m for a year or more.

The warning messages seem so arbitrary and their occurrence doesn't appear to match whats actually going on, thus I tend to take little note of them as there are so many now they've become a nuisance.

You need to look into this problem, I know (from observation) there has been a higher frequency of typos over the last few months, this is costing people dearly.

While trhe star-jump effect is very cool, and makes the whole of new eden feel much more integrated and emersive. I think there a few issues still.

Many of the stargate models are not centred on the starting point of the tunnel effect, meaning when you spool up effect is done, the screen jolts to align correctly with the tunnel. It does not seem to be consistent with any particular racial gate or size. It is something that affects many gates of all types.

Perhaps there is an easy fix for this which would make the stargates the best they can possibly be...

I have an issue regarding the overview. When I use the radial menu on objects in the overview
it does not update correctly, i.e. when I'm at a station and I have ships in the overview and activate
the warp to gate with the radial menu on a specific gate, all the ships are not deleted from the overview
but they are greyed out.
Ugh

Using the overview in the traditional fashion works very well and as expected, though. Cool

Any idea on this pretty nasty thing, which populates the overview with heaps of greyed out ship entriesQuestion

btw, this is on an iMac, OS X 10.7.5

I think this is probably due to the overview freezing (by design) when there is any sort of mouse activity in it. The ship info stays but is greyed out because they are no longer on grid.

Maybe this is a new one.

I got disconnected, for about the 5th time today. Brought the lancher up from minimized and pressed play. No joy.

Closed the launcher and re-opened it. It says Tranquility is on line with 27,000 players. But it doesn't give me the option to enter Login data. The text boxes aren't there.

Aside from that, are all of those 27,000 players always online? That would be a ggod way for CCP to make people think there are more players on line than there actually are.

Conspiracy theory? Could be, but I have absolutely no trust in anyone who does, or ever has worked for CCP.

I was having the same issue, but it appears the login server is back. I had that issue with both the launcher and forum.

I was having the same issue, but it appears the login server is back. I had that issue with both the launcher and forum.

Still getting blacked out icons for targets. I use the icons to set targeting priorities.

In other words, I consider this to be a bad thing.

issue: no hacking/relics site spawning in drone space

ttraveled many many systems now in drone space but i have yet to find ANY RELIC/DATA SITES

I've been flying around with the scanner window open and the new sensor overlay on. Oftentimes I see cosmic anomalies and signatures on the overlay (looks nice, btw), but the scanner (tuned to "show all", with anomalies ticked on) shows nothing (and nothing filtered-out either).

Also, the emission scope sharpener rig's description ( as well as that of its blueprint) still says it boosts "analyzer" modules. I guess it should say "relic analyzer" (in contrast to the memetic algorithm bank rig, right)?

How does the new hacking mechanism affect the Epic Arc mission "The Breakout", btw.?
