King of alpha and sustained damage

So with the changes to ships and new ships what ship is the king of Alpha damage?
What ship is the DPS king over the duration?

I have allways liked typhoon and cane.

Why do you both like Vindicator?

Can't say I have seen a whole lot of fits for them aside from what battle clinic may have but I don't put a whole lot of stock in those tbh

You asked for the best 2 ships in the alpha and DPS categories.
Those ships are machariel for alpha, vindicator for DPS. (i assumed youre not counting capitals.)

But it's really expensive and will go down like any other ship if you bring enough support, unless you're really going for a bling fit a regular Mega or a Hyperion would be more reasonable, I think in terms of T1 subcap ships the Hyperion has the most damage potential and the Nado has the most alpha.

Nado has rof bonus, not dmg. Mach get 3/4 of a gun more in alpha, and a lot more than that in dps. Hype was newly nerfed in dps, and doesn't come close to vindi to begin with.

Navy domi does almost as much DPS as a vindicator if you want something cheap.

PS: if you keep asking silly questions, youre going to get silly answers. asking which ship does most alpha/dps with zero context is about as useful as asking which ship comes first alphabetically by the 3rd letter in its name.

I'm pretty sure that the Moros still wins in sustained damage, though the Naglfar probably wins in alpha.

Yeah I said T1 ships, Nado is tied with Mael for highest alpha, . The Mach/Vindi are definitely the kings if you're including all subcap ships. For dps, the Megathron comes pretty close to the Hyperion and can beat it, but in a reasonable PvP fit the Hyperion would come out on top for T1 ships. Navy Domi is the most dps for faction ships not including pirate factions.

Yeah Ragnarok has the most alpha, with meta guns and 3 RF gyros it has 135k alpha vs Nags 109k alpha.

Holy..Didn't expect that the Levi would be the highest alpha, nice to know. 220k alpha is pretty ridiculous, sad that capital torps suck though.

Well I was just curious as I know there is alot more people out there who have messed with fits post patch than I have, so I was curious as to what people have experinced for DPS fits. I have to admit I have not seen a Vindicator fit that was all that so I would be curious to see how they are fitting it for it to be king.

I mean I have a Domi fit that just nos's the crap out of people while drones chew them up but that is not the best fir for Domi either

Torp Fleet Typhoon does a little bit more than the Navy Domi. Now if you're talking about practical fits and applied damage, all bets are off.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.
