So i been farming the new Clone Soldier NPCs i found during the day there's a few of them about, but for the past few nights when i have been playing, i have litterly checked every belt in about 30 systems in the same region and not one single NPC of this type can be found. a little strange!

so do they respawn? not sure they do

They re-spawn.

You have to kill the NPC all the time. They have % to spawn. The more you kill, you're more closer to your goal.

The have a re-spawn timer of 15 (?) minutes.

Just circle around the same system, and kill all on your way.

Find a LOW-sec system which is far away from the "pipe" if you don't want to get disturbed.

Optimal LOW-sec system:

- At least 0.2 (transporter soldiers).
- No station in system.
- At least 14 belts (I like that number).
- System should not be 'transport' route or a 'connection' between main pockets or gang routes.

Sorry that I'm keeping this short as it is, but you can use the search function for more information about belt spawning/farming.

Which ship you should use?

For me, the best option would be drone boat with aggressive drones - no need for ammunition.

Fit the cloak (prototype cloaking device) if you're not a ship which can use covert-ops.

Enjoy your farm.

Don't forget to safe up and check your local. Fly safe.

From what I've noticed when going through and from what others have said, there's a very small chance when belt rats in general respawn that a clone soldier is spawned. When it dies, it doesn't mean it's coming back.

In other words, you have to clean waves entirely, just like if you were looking for faction spawns, right?
