Please correct me if i am wrong...

caldari have lots upgraded systems, which can be offensively plexed by gallente for their full payout

gallente have ZERO upgraded systems, so caldari can offensively plex at level one payout, or defensively plex at (.75)(tier level)(%contested level%)


Am i missing something? was this set up to encourage people to go to the losing side?

Well CCP loves gallente so of course they will make ISK/LP no matter what.

Plus QCats need to fund their solo efforts, and that ain't cheap. So CCP gives them more LP. It's not Gallente. It's just QCats, Villore, and a few others get a 1.25x modifier to their formula. It's only to even the playing field, really.

Since most goons are gallante and all devs are secretly goonies, it only makes sense that gallante gets more

I'm a goon devi and soz my wife.

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.
