wtf is going on with the download

I download the client downloader, it doesn't download, I try to download the files from the offline site, won't download, ended up downloading with steam, them copying the filed from steam directory to main ....CCP/EVE. got launcher running, won't patch getting

The Server you are connecting to could not be reached.

Please check your internet settings and restart the EVE: Online launcher

The URL that could not be reached was

just did fresh install of W7, again tried to download using eve downloader, no dice, then tried offline download, no dice, seems like only way i can get the client is by using the steam download....wtf is going on?

Are you downloading the offline installer from here? What happens when it fails?

The above lin executable states that it is an online installer and It will not call the payload files.

it just sits there....doesn't show that it is downloading, I get the pause and cancel options but it does not download

still having issues with launcher, cannot update client, still cannot download client either, and I've shut down my virus scanners and tried and still nothing
