So that my alt doesn't just sit around while I pay for the subscription. I need the alt to bring me ships and such every now and then, but the rest of the time, he sits around. I can haul things for other people for free to be a nice person and make others lives easier.

Take 30 seconds of my time to do something nice for others that shouldn't cost me more than a few thousand in contract fees...why not?

I like to haul on my freighter alt while I'm off doing PvP on this toon, and public contracts are a pain in the butt since I have to be in the same region as the contract.

I'll haul your cargo free of charge with up to $1 billion isk collateral. Unlimited jumps, unlimited trips. I'll never turn down a reward on the courier contract, but it's not required - I will haul for free. The long hauls (many jumps) are my favorite. All high sec of course.

You may think this is a scam because it's free, but if you know anything about courier contracts, you'll know you have no risk as long as the collateral is more than the value of the cargo. No assembled containers or plastic wrap, as that causes a hassle for me. I will then blacklist you and your corp, and will not take anymore contracts from either.

I have a public channel if you'd like to stop on by - "Free Freight". Otherwise, just mail me, private convo me, or just issue me the courier contract.

How is this any different from public contracts? You still have to be in the same region to accept the contract.

WTF why are you trying to put other freighter pilots out of a job? They need the isk from rewards to survive and you are doing it for free?

You are a heartless, inconsiderate monster.

If the courier contract is made directly to me, then I don't need to be in the same region to accept it. If it's a public one, then I do.

If you don't yet have a database of what you're hauling where and for who, you should make one. If the information's not useful to you directly, it ought to be salable.

But if it isnt in the same region you still have to fly to it to pick it up.

I've had a few contracts already, but mostly been dealing with the hassle of public contracts. People are set on Red Frog and have it ingrained in their heads that if it's free, it's a scam. If you know contracts, you know this isn't a scam. I'm keeping busy though. But you always have to keep up on the marketing!

Indeed I do, but that's done with my freighter alt - not with this toon who is an outlaw. This toon is off doing PvP in low sec, while my freighter alt galavants around high sec hauling stuff.

Same as me. My HS freighter alt autopilots all over. I started just getting contracts from the hauler channel. Now I do private contracts exclusively for a mining company which is extra nice because they are all in my local area.

To have a regular supplier of runs like that would be fantastic! I envy you. Do they (or any of their associates) need another hauler? Perhaps you are able to meet their demands, but their friends are looking for someone?

Send them my way if they are...

The rest of you - looking to save some isk on your freight costs? Contract the courier runs to me. Pay me if you'd like, or don't pay me at all - the run will get completed all the same.

Why not apply to red frog? You can do this and make a little on the side and not have to rely on the forums to get courier work, and it should be much more plentiful. If I remember they run a website with the requirements for applying.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

I have been blacklisted from Red Frog. I worked for Red Frog, picked up a contract that had about $14.5 billion worth of goods in it and only a $1 billion collateral. I failed the contract and kept the goods, becoming about $13.5 billion richer.

This is why appropriate collateral is essential. With appropriate collateral, both my ship and your goods are properly protected. This is also why I'm willing to do these hauls for free - I don't need the isk. Doing this out of enjoyment rather than need. I won't turn down isk, but it's not required.

Contract moved under set time, and the pickup/initiation was super quick. This service was provided as advertised. Thank you Alliria, I hope you are as friendly if I run into you pirating sometime. Lol.

Thanks Vince!

As an update - more than 500 jumps made and more than 10,000,000 m3 moved since I started this Free Freight service.

Let's shoot for 1,000 jumps and 20,000,000 m3 now!

Oh come on guys, it's not that complicated. She's already given you all the hints a monkey would need.

She's a collateral error exploiter, a perfectly valid and profitable business. Tons of people scour public contracts for courier contracts where it's possible that the cargo value is higher than the collateral. Think of it as the bargain basement of Eve.

Problem is, there are enough people doing this that it's hard to compete. Solution? Offer haulage for free, and suddenly you have your own private collection of contracts to sift through at your leisure. All it takes is 1-2 collateral mistakes per month, and the toon is making vastly more than through honest hauling.

No plastic wraps, no containers. Let me see what I'm hauling so I can easily decide which contracts to fail.

No creativity, but the fact that no one sees the play is even sadder.
