Intel Pentium 2020m 2.40GHz CPU
4GB RAM
500GB Hard Drive
Intel UMA Shared Graphics

Need a cheap laptop for work and of course EVE.

Anyone know if this could run the client on low settings or higher?

Thank you in advance for any replies.

Unless Intel has been pumping some serious oomph into their cards lately, that thing is going to crawl while running EVE.

Don't expect to run Teamspeak with it. I have a Dell Inspiron 2.5GHz i5, a superior processor, w/4GB, shared graphics, and it'd eventually lock up the processor and often overheat and shut down when doing so. Sometimes this would take a 10-15 minutes (if you're in a fleet fight of a few hundred vs. a few hundred) or a few hours (solo exploration, market trading).

If you're just playing EVE on the lowest settings and not using TS3, and doing small gang or solo stuff, it ought to be OK.

Thanks for your answers. I wouldn't be doing anything other then moving assets and trading. Since I'd only be logged in a few minutes at a time for small things. I have work to do

The Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics card runs eve fairly well. should be able to get that with one of the core processors.

Basically, 6 execution units (compared to the 16 of intel HD 4000 variants) at a 650MHz base frequency (dynamic 1.1), so not exactly a powerhouse, but, eh, it could be worse.

So I guess it will probably run EVE just fine at low-ish graphic detail in most places with fairly decent FPS.
If you don't mind low-ish double digit FPS, you could possibly even run it at highest detail, but I would advise against that also due to the shared memory.
