People mine in lowsecs?

I had no idea people actually mined in lowsecs. I thought it was a fool's errand but today, while running exploration sites, I jumped into Horkissen and there had to have been literally almost a dozen barges on scan, and I even warped in on a few of them at the belts. What gives? I do not understand. These are just standard belts in a 0.4, why would anyone mine them, let alone an entire corporation?!

Now that veld and scord are worthless miners have to venture into deeper waters to earn their keep. We've seen entire fleets of ventures in our home systems.

Good methods of dispatching with them include disco-phoons & sebo-nados. On a side note, there has never been a better time for the good ol' bait skiff

If they are smart low sec is actually safer than hi sec if they know how to watch local, use scanner, have ship aligned, find abandoned part of space, etc.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

This is a joke right? In no way at no time is lowsec safer for a miner than hisec.

There is no safer place than under the watchful eye of James 315, at least for those who accept him as the one and only saviour of High Sec.

If criminal miners are fleeing to Low Sec, that will be dealt with I'm sure.

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Boy I'm really paying attention, I always thought Citizen160812 looked lets say "different" and the other day I heard on the radio of a LGBT festival I was like WTF is LGBT....then by the way it described some things.....it hit me (((boooong yooooong))) now I completely understand why citizen160812 is....different. Big smile

Now it's just a matter of a top or bottom mining to be done.Shocked

this is true, anyone coming after said criminals will also be dealt with. In fact there will be general dealing with regardless of corp or intention

We are! If you're mining and you see one of us in local, shoot us a fleet invite and you can share in our sweet, sweet Orca mining bonuses.

Peace and minerals for all!

It you do it with a group it's actually much safer. Find a backwater LS, stick scouts in the nearby systems, get on voice coms, and stay aligned to station or a safe spot. If someone shows up in local you warp to your safe spot. Depending on the corp either you log off or reship for pvp. A corp I ran with back in the day did this as a once a week corp mining op. Of course the mid end minerals were worth more back then, and the pay for a newbie running ore to station in a badger was very nice.

I've mined in lowsec....

I mined in Amamake belt 3-1

Survived 13 whole minutes Cool

Though that was probably due to our mining fleet being comprised entirely out of Scorpions. The would-be gankers had to wait for the blob Lol

I miss the old Python ops Sad
