What should I go with.

Alright, woe unto me, for I'm a lowly minmatar pilot. What should I go with if I really like missiles and explosions. The Typhoon. Or The raven? (I'll probably be using cruise missiles.)

well if you're minmatar there's only one battleship that can use cruise missiles effectively..

I can either train up to the raven, or the typhoon. Which should I pick...I'm a sucker for the Typhoon though....I believe cruise missiles stopped sucking.

It's more a matter of preference than anything. The Raven has better range, the Typhoon has better damage application. If I remember correctly the Typhoon is also armor tanked, while the Raven is shield tanked.

Alright. So I the typhoon is no longer horribly gibbed like i remember?

I'm still messing with the fit, but I'm loving the new Typhoon for missions, probably more than the Maelstrom I've been using (I prefer armor tanks). My missile skills aren't that hot either, nothing at 5, cruise missiles still at 3.

Fleet typhoon. Better missile damage than CNR, shield tanked, and can use sentries for even more DPS.

Fleet Typhoon is nice but regular Phoon is also perfectly capable of being a mission boat, in fact I'd say regular Phoon is better than regular Raven.

wait wait... are you asking what ship is better to do missions? like level 4s rigth?...... anyships can do level 4s.... actually supers and carriers cant...... so ya....

missions are a dead end, they dont do allot of isk, think about fleet battles, and other things you migth want to try after.... example
incursions(highsec are mostly shield tankers with logistics, so youll need the caldari buff) FW (anything should do....) drunk pvp (train minmitar....) solo?.... well thats up to you..... tnegu is not to bad i think still but minmitar ships are better...

i made the error of training for missions.. then i realized how boring i was, so i have allot of missing navigation skills to catch up, and other silly stuff.

If you want to do level 4s for the rest of your life then be it... youll need to train caldari because they are better, minmitar ships are squishy, they require effort to maybe speed tank a little (yes this is why they are weaker, its an advantage) so you are gonna burn out easily with a ship that needs to move around to keep alive

This is a comment from an armor tanker keep in mind.

If you like missiles, I'd suggest going for Tengu. Imo its one of the only really viable multi purpose Missiles boats in the game.

The problem with the Raven, its only single use. You can mission in it and thats it. I know the old Phoons were a popular Alpha fleet boat, but dont know if thats the case now they only have Missiles rather than split weapon system

Bs's are better at doing missions than t3's.
