POS and no high sec love

I realize there are alot of people do not like players who just play in high sec. but some people have no interests in going out to low and null sec to do the pew pew thing. so why does ccp put so much restrictions on some things just trying to force people out to low and null sec space. I do agree the rewards should be much higher out in null and low sec space as the risks are higher. but ccp shouldn't be going out of there way to force people out there to make isk if thats not your thing.
As well I could never understand why to put a pos up in high sec you need to grind up your empire level.. makes no scene when everything thing else in eve is skill based. Finally why can't ccp allow more types of pos and stations be avaiable to players, ie casino's where players own it buy mini games from ccp store to put in them players pay isk and try their luck at winning more. players who own those stations have to have the isk in them to cover the betting.. ie.. corps funds.
purely manufacturing pos ie.. food / materials / components.. purely research / invention pos where players can rent space out to other players and use them themselves if they choose. ect..

If you want the benefit of a 'high sec' pos then you need to work for it.

It's not that difficult to get your standings up, you can anchor up to 0.7 and to be honest, if ccp relaxed the requirements then the moons would fill up pretty quick with people wanting to see what the fuss was about.

The idea of renting space out is an old one, and there's lots of pro's and con's to it, it has been banded about numerous times in the past but nothing has happened.

Food / Materials / Components - food hasn't got any blueprints, neither is it a requirement for anything really, just a trade good, materials I don't know which, same with components.

It doesn't make sense that the empires wouldn't want some schmuck they don't particularly care for putting up a starbase in their neighborhood?

Really?

Seems perfectly sensible to me.

Edit: Wow, I would not have thought that particular word would be subject to the profanity filter. Shocked

Too many have been told for too long that low sec is a bad, dangerous, scary place full of vicious pirates and these poor souls are led to believe that nobody ever gets out of low sec alive. B.S.

I'm a care bear at heart, I suck at combat PvP. Just the same, I'm here to tell you, there is much fun to be had in low sec. Play cat and mouse with the scary pirates, its far more exhilarating than mining, probing, pew-pew or market PvP. All you need is something cloaky and be able to keep your head. You can learn a lot about how to survive in the deep dark if you just dip your toes in the water.... just sayin'!

This. I mostly stay in highsec but have some pi & a few other bits in low. Collection day in Eve is adrenaline all the way zipping back & forth through camps in my blockade runner. Really makes the butthole twitch!

On your original point, the grind is annoying but it's hard enough to find a decent spot for a pos without making it easier. Plus the epic arcs etc offer some decent iskies along the way.

I get the feeling looking at blogs and vids over the last few years that devs are in the process of designing and iterating on massive changes to POS. But for now, yea, standings grind.

The standings requirement is there since it is that faction's space... simple as that. You have to be on good grounds with them to anchor a structure in their space, how is that not logical?
