"No, we do not actually play the game. Why do you ask?" - (nearly all?) CCP employees, especially the developers... Twisted

That the devs actually called the rest of the entire game FiS was just showing how out of touch they were

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.

Hidden in the Odyssey changelog was this little gem:
Quote:
Fresh client installs will now default to the Ship Hangar rather than the Captain's Quarters.

Can we say that "clothing in space" content has been effectively sidelined? ;)

Not finishing WiS

So, you are saying starting WiS, was the dumbest idea in Eve? Well I have to agree with you on that.

Everything they propose until they actually tie up all the fk´n loose ends they have left from previous expansions and introduce modular POS´s that work like stations.

They really do need to get that **** together, all they seem to be doing is CHASING CASH AS F@(K ALL ELSE SEEMS TO MATTER WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE DECISIONS THEY MAKE.

yeah, eve died, its rotting corpse will go on being developed mostly by the brain-dead who cant think but have to steal ideas from other games and the far smarter peoples code they find when they hack them.

(P.S. nothing wrong in making money, they were doing OK until they over reached and made some bad decisions, they could still make money and make eve HTFU more and have lots of new soon to be long term players who understand eve is (was) a very long term game willing to keep paying the bills.)

already dead, just haven´t fallen over yet....

Bring back learning skills.

EvE is supposed to suck.  Wait . . . what was the question?

Generally I agree with this. But, having multiple "channels" for people in Jita (i.e. like channels in Tera) would go a long way to solving the problems there without making EvE a multishard universe.

SP for money,
SP Redistribution
Allow players to shut down stargates.
Inhibit Non-Consensual PvP in any region
Inhibit Scamming
Inhibit AWOXing
Inhibit Bumping

and

Most ideas that focus on forcing EvE to be a safer place because people don't want to utilize the available options to make themselves safe!

At least once I've seen it suggested that CCP should ban Goons. Similarly, suggestions that alliance / coalition sizes should be limited.

There was also the proposed anti-bumping module.

Actually I think that one can be topped by "earning additional skillpoints by using the skills". For some reason this "idea" is always mentioned in connection with mining.
Second place goes to all kinds of "sharding" from the obvious "one PvP and one PvE server" to "arenas".

I'm not trying to stir up a lot of debate here, rather it might be fun to have a thread that gives a quick overview of all the ideas that someone doesn't like and a quick reasoning of why. if you disagree with a post please dig up an old thread about the issue and start your arguments there.

Please feel free to like posts that you agree with, that will give us a better feeling of the numbers involved.

to be frank

99.95% of all suggestions made are full of stupid

not just plain ordinary stupid, but they are at a level of stupidity that makes window licking imbecility look like genius.
